Mr. Sardar Al Bebany, Chairman of “Sardar Group”, visited the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Mr. Masrour Barzani aiming to strengthening economic partnerships and business relations with Japanese factories.

Mr. Masrour Barzani received the guest cordially at the Region’s capital accompanied by the Japanese delegation, foreign affairs minister’s assistant, Middle East and Africa Affairs Officer, Mr. Kansuki Nagaoka, Japanese Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Fotoshi Matsumoto, and Japanese companies’ representatives.

This visit comes in regard of strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the region and Japan and taking advantage of Japan’s leading experiences in transport and communications.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister of the region and visitors expressed their common will to strengthen investment and business development companies in Kurdistan region by discussing projects in transport, communications, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

The group’s chairman, Mr. Sardar Hussein Al Bebany, emphasized his desire to increase investment projects in Kurdistan region and provide support for the development of different economic sectors through investments in hybrid cars and low fuel consumption vehicles to promote sustainable development by improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.
